Teach AI to Print Electronics: A Hands-On Course in AI-driven Digital Twins for Flexible and Hybrid Electronics

June 10, 2026 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Benyamin Davaji, Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Northeastern University, and Haiyang Yun, Senior PhD Student, will present: “Digital Twins for Printed Electronics: How Can AI Learn FHE Printing?“, part of the SEMI Flexible Electronics Master Class series.

Drawing on collaborative research from the Autonomous Integrated Microsystems (AIMS) Laboratory, the course introduces deep neural network-based digital twins that connect design, fabrication, and metrology data to enable real-time process monitoring and optimization in flexible hybrid electronics manufacturing. Attendees will work through the complete digital twin workflow – image processing, virtual metrology, AI model training, and hyperparameter tuning – and build their own digital twin using real-world datasets in a hands-on Google Colab module.

Student attendance is free and strongly encouraged. Students can register using their university email address and a valid student ID.
