ECE Assistant Professor Mahshid Amirabadi, received the Best Paper Award at the 8th Annual IEEE Energy Conversion Congress & Exposition (ECCE 2016). Her paper was entitled "Cuk-Based Universal Converters in Discontinuous Conduction Mode of Operation."
