MIE PhD candidate Adel W. Fadhel and Dr. Surendra M. Gupta’s paper titled “Carbon Emissions and Energy Balance in the Design of a Sustainable Food Waste Network Model ” won the best Track Paper Award in Waste Management at the International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Operations Management held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia during November 26-28, 2019.
