MIE PhD Student Receives SMTA Educational Research Grant
G. Çağatay Özşeker, PhD’27, mechanical engineering, was awarded the Charles Hutchins Educational Grant for his project “Additive Manufacturing of Fine-Resolution Trace and Interconnects for 3D Heterogeneous Integration.” The grant, established in 1998 by the Surface Mount Technology Association (SMTA), recognizes outstanding graduate students pursuing careers in the electronics industry. Özşeker will receive the award at the 2024 SMTA International Conference in Rosemont, Illinois, on Oct. 20.
