Using Drones to Spot Sharks
ECE & ChE Professor Vincent Harris was interviewed by WCVB on the use of drones to spot sharks off the coast of beaches. The cameras would be able to determine in real-time the types of sharks and their movements. He was also featured by the Cape Cod Times, stating that drones would be “a good, and relatively inexpensive, way to patrol the Cape’s beaches.”
