Goldwater Scholar Shares Her Research Experiences
Kaitlyn Ramesh, E’25, bioengineering, received the prestigious 2024 Barry Goldwater Scholarship for her undergraduate research in the Lu Lab and the Prigozhin Lab. She is involved with the Women’s Research Engagement Network and received other awards such as the AJC Merit Research Scholarship.

Personalized Academics and Rich Experiential Learning Leads to Next Step at Medical School
Harold D. Hodgkinson Award recipient, Zachary Hoglund, E’24, bioengineering and biochemistry, has completed two research co-ops, traveled to Ghana as president of the Innovators for Global Health student group, published research, and presented at conferences. Next step: medical school.

Franklin Ollivierre, E’26, civil engineering, has been deeply invested in the College of Engineering’s programs ever since he joined the Young Scholars’ Program as a high school student. Now in his third year and on his second co-op, he has embraced a community that he is eager to give back to.

2024 Condit Award
Dominic Pizzarella, E’25, chemical engineering and biochemistry, won the Sears B. Condit Award, which is awarded annually to one student from each of Northeastern’s undergraduate day colleges and is one of the highest honors that a junior or senior at Northeastern University can receive.
