A 37-Year Career at Mobil Oil Fueled by Northeastern’s Co-op Program
Richard “Dick” Moynihan, E’58, chemical engineering, built a 37-year career with Mobil Oil that took him across the United States and abroad. His time at Northeastern, especially his co-ops, gave him both the technical foundation and life lessons that carried him through an adventurous and rewarding professional and personal journey.

Advancing Technology Through Creative Solutions
Mayank Chadha, MS’25, cyber-physical systems, has always had a strong fascination with robotics and technology. He wanted to gain more experience building cyber-physical systems and a chance to work on impactful research projects that developed creative solutions for difficult problems. The cyber-physical systems master’s program was the perfect opportunity for him to learn and engage in a subject he is passionate about.

Minnah Uddin, E’26, mechanical engineering and design, joined a double degree program to study two subjects she is passionate about and broaden her education and understanding of the two industries. Now completing her third co-op, she has been able to use what she has learned in the classroom to excel and succeed in any environment.

Caline Pechdimaljian, MS’25, bioengineering, started her career in pharmaceutical process engineering research and development. Her work with pharmaceutical manufacturing sparked her curiosity for looking into targeted therapeutics and medical device development. The bioengineering master’s program led her to discover her passion for working on technology to improve the health and quality of life of patients and communities.
